Chambers Signs New Deal!
Town skipper Luke Chambers has signed a new two-year deal to remain at Portman Road.
The Blues has already confirmed their intention to exercise the one-year option in the 31-year-old’s contract, which was set to expire in June 2017, it also ends months of speculation regarding his future after his former club Nottingham Forest made a move for him on the final day of the January transfer window.
"I never envisaged leaving ITFC and I'm pleased to get things sorted now. I'm looking forward to the future now," Luke told Ipswich Player HD.
Chambers has made over 200 appearances since joining Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in July 2012.
